Transport

Transport is a major source of global warming and toxic air pollution, and range of other impacts including noise and injury through accidents.

Despite growth in road transport, the emission of many toxic pollutants is declining because of emission standards. However, greenhouse gas emission and impacts such as particulate pollution from tyres and brakes are not diminishing.
